Katherine's lawyer says the new arrangement "reflected the wishes of [Michael Jackson's] children" ... Paris, Prince and Blanket.
If the court grants the joint request, Katherine's lawyer says TJ will be able to assume a lot of the day-to-day responsibilities that have been stressing Katherine out ... including management of household personnel and security.
"It will also make clear for school personnel and anyone else coming into contact with the children that TJ is authorized to act on their behalf," Perry tells TMZ.
"Mrs. Jackson will then be freed up to focus on the more personal everyday decision making related to the lives and activities of the children."
Katherine's lawyer says the agreement would still empower Katherine to CONTROL THE FAMILY'S ALLOWANCE ... which is $70k per month.
The arrangement also seems to make TJ a shoo-in to become the SOLE guardian of the children if Katherine dies while they are still minors.
Katherine's lawyer concludes, "Mrs. Jackson is extremely pleased with the prospect of enjoying the pleasure of raising Michael's children without the day-to-day tedium of items such as managing the large staff that goes with such a high profile family and focus her attention on being a grandmother and raising Michael's children."
Perry tells us ... TJ will file a petition to become the sole permanent guardian later today ... but that's just a formality because of a court imposed deadline. The joint petition will TRUMP that filing.

The judge in the Katherine Jackson case needs help deciding to whom he should award permanent guardianship of MJ's children -- so he's ordered an independent investigator to interview the kids ... and report back asap.
According to court documents, obtained by TMZ, Judge Mitchell Beckloff has ordered a probate court investigator named Cary Ornelas to "prepare an investigation report addressing the status of the minor children and their currently suspended guardian, Katherine Jackson."
According to the court order, Ornelas has been authorized to interview the Jackson children at their school ... without notice.
Once completed, Ornelas' report will be submitted to the judge ... for his eyes only.
Michael Jackson's nephew TJ Jackson is currently the kids' temporary guardian, and he has already filed documents asking to make the guardianship permanent.
For her part -- Katherine says she has reached an agreement with TJ under which they will SPLIT guardianship of the kids.

Ora anche una persona del tutto estranea alla famiglia ha deciso di intromettersi in questa bufera mediatica. Parole davvero forti e chiare quelle pronunciate da Chris. Senza alcun dubbio lui non è l’unico a pensarla così: in moltissimi hanno sempre affermato quanto sia fastidioso questo modo di fare della famiglia Jackson, la quale non ha mai tenuto nascoste le liti interne ed ha sempre fatto di esse una questione pubblica, danneggiando profondamente Micheal stesso. Rowe raced back to southern California from a horse show last weekend when she heard family members reported Katherine missing, the source said.
Though she handed Michael full custody of son Prince Michael, now 15, and daughter Paris, now 14, when they divorced in 1999, and didn't intervene after his death, Rowe has seen the kids on more than one occasion in the last three years, the source said.
The visitation was part of an agreement she struck with Katherine directly - a pact that also called for limited interaction with patriarch Joe Jackson, the source said.
Rowe, 53, was concerned about Joe's influence because Michael had accused his dad of physical abuse, sources previously told The News.
"As long as Katherine is still actively involved (with the kids), there shouldn't be a problem. But they never agreed to let TJ be a decision maker. (Rowe) knows TJ from when he was little. She knows he's close to the kids. But she might ask for more custodial responsibility if he's making decisions she doesn't agree with," the Rowe source said Friday.
TJ has been helping Katherine care for the kids at their Calabasas home and was granted temporary guardianship Wednesday amid a familial fracas pitting Michael's three kids against his siblings Janet, Jermaine, Randy and Rebbie.
Prince and Paris voiced allegations on Twitter that they were blocked from speaking with Katherine during a surprise 9-day trip to an Arizona spa organized by the aunts and uncles.

Howard Weitzman scrive una lettera per escludere alcuni membri della famiglia Jackson dalla casa di famiglia.

There will be no other security or drivers allowed on the property except those employed by the Estate of Michael Jackson. Joe Jackson is precluded from entering the property. As for the "letter" being referenced ... it's the one sent to Branca and McClain by Janet, Jermaine, Randy, Rebbie and Tito Jackson ... asking that both men resign as executors of their brother's estate. In the letter, it claims the 2002 will is fraudulent.
Weitzman's alleged letter goes on to say:
“Of course, Paris, Prince and Blanket, T.J. and his brothers, Tito, Marlon, Jackie and their spouses, current security (hired by the Estate), staff (per T.J.), Meg Lodise, Michael Kane, Sandra Ribera, Parry Sanders, Trent Jackson, you (Charles Shultz) and anyone else authorized by T.J. (other than the Excluded Individuals listed above), may enter and remain on the premises.
It is imperative to the Estate that from this point forward a safe and appropriate environment be provided for Michael Jackson’s children and his mother as well."

Friday, a judge ruled that Katherine will share guardianship duties of Michael's three children with her 34-year-old nephew, TJ Jackson.
Katherine's attorney, Perry Sanders Jr., clarified to X17online, that Katherine will still remain in control of the estate's finances, as well as the day-to-day activities of Paris, Prince and Blanket.

Qui è chiaramente una montatura oltre ogni limite di decenza, l'ennesima.
Ma che una zia si rivolga ad una nipote un po' fuori controllo, dal suo punto di vista, anche con epiteti discutibili perché in definitiva per niente educativi, questo in sé non lo vedrei totalmente assurdo.

The singer writes in a statement to The Associated Press that "all interests are best served if it remains private."
Ross was named in Jackson's 2002 will as a potential guardian for his three children if his mother was not available to serve. A judge suspended Katherine Jackson as the children's guardian last week after a 10-day absence and instructed the temporary guardian, TJ Jackson, to notify Ross of the changes.
Court filings on Friday indicated that Ross' attorney had been given notice.
The 68-year-old singer and Jackson were longtime friends before his death in 2009.
