Tributo a MJ al Disasterland: l'animo rock dei personaggi Disney
Disasterland è il titolo della mostra dell’artista messicano Rodolfo Loaiza che ha voluto creare la sua versione dei personaggi più amati e conosciuti del mondo Disney, reinterpretandoli in chiave rock ed horror. E così ci troviamo di fronte ad un’Alice che indossa una maglietta di Kurt Cobain, ad una Cenerentola pronta ad andare ad un concerto rock, alla Sirenetta che sfoggia soddisfatta la sua maglietta del Reverendo Manson e ad Aurora che rischia di essere uccisa da Freddy Krueger di Nightmare.
Disasterland, secondo una definizione dello stesso Loaiza, “esplora che cosa accadrebbe se i protagonisti delle nostre favole fossero in carne ed ossa e si dovessero confrontare con il mondo frenetico ed eccessivo della fama”.
La mostra sarà inaugurata domani 3 agosto alla galleria La Luz de Jesus di Los Angeles e le tele rimarranno esposte in loco fino al 2 settembre 2012.

Gli esperti della legge: "I fratelli di MJ non possono combattere contro il testamento"
Dopo più di tre anni dalla la morte di Michael Jackson, il suo fratello più giovane continua a sollevare questioni sulla validità della volontà della superstar del pop.
Su Twitter e in TV via cavo, Randy Jackson ha definito il documento di cinque pagine firmato nel 2002 un falso. L'unico posto in cui non ha fatto dichiarazioni è il tribunale, in cui gli esperti legali dicono che dovrà affrontare ostacoli quasi insormontabili per invalidare la volontà e le rigide quote contro gli esecutori per estrometterli dal gestire il grosso patrimonio lucrativo.
Tuttavia, anche se una condanna potrà invalidare il documento, non cambierebbe nulla riguardo la quota che i tre figli del Re del Pop ricevono, fanno notare gli esperti di una corte d'appello.
Randy Jackson da allora ha postato su Twitter un messaggio in cui dice di credere che l'Estate sta cercando di isolare la madre a scapito della sua salute. "E' mia paura e convinzione, che stanno cercando di prendere la vita di mia madre," scrive Randy Jackson, la scorsa settimana.

The one place he hasn’t made the claims is a courtroom, where legal experts say he faces almost insurmountable hurdles to invalidate the will and stiff odds against ousting the men who run the lucrative estate.
In a recent letter, Randy Jackson and three of his siblings called on Jackson’s estate executors to resign and renewed charges that their brother’s will is a fake.
The letter states Jackson’s family – who other than his mother and three children receive no stake in his estate – was too overwhelmed after the singer’s death to meaningfully challenge the document. “At that time we couldn’t possibly fathom what is so obvious to us now: that the Will, without question, it’s Fake, Flawed and Fraudulent,” the letter signed by Randy, Jermaine, Janet and Rebbie Jackson states.
The delay, however, likely dooms any effort to invalidate the document, and if it was thrown out, would not alter the stake the King of Pop’s three children receive, experts say and an appeals court has noted.
Randy Jackson has since posted on Twitter that he believes the estate is trying to isolate his mother to the detriment of her health. “It is my fear and belief, that they are trying to take my mother’s life,” Randy Jackson wrote last week.
Jackson’s estate has denied the accusations. “We are saddened that false and defamatory accusations grounded in stale Internet conspiracy theories are now being made by certain members of Michael’s family whom he chose to leave out of his will,” the estate wrote in a statement.
Almost from the moment it was filed, the will has been a topic of controversy for some of Jackson’s relatives. The pop superstar’s father Joe Jackson attempted to get a stipend from the estate, but like the rest of his children, he was excluded from any share. His mother, Katherine, explored the possibility of challenging the executors and was given permission by a judge, but settled before a full hearing was held.
The estate benefits Katherine Jackson and the singer’s three children – Prince, 15; Paris, 14; and Blanket, 10.
The five-page document is straightforward and simple, and many key provisions of how Jackson’s estate is constructed are set out in a trust. That document has never been publicly released.
Many of the misgivings stem from the will’s final page, which bears the signatures of three witnesses who claim Jackson signed the document on July 7, 2002, in Los Angeles. Jackson’s family points out that the singer was in New York on that day, a point the Rev. Al Sharpton recently bolstered by showing video of the “Thriller” singer appearing with him at an event in Harlem that day.
“I don’t think that kind of extrinsic fraud would be enough to overturn the order admitting the will to probate,” said Marshall Oldman, a Los Angeles probate attorney who represented Peter Falk’s wife in a conservatorship proceeding.
He said Jackson’s siblings’ only valid argument is that they did not receive proper notice that their brother’s will had been accepted into probate. Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff accepted the will in November 2009. Any challenge would have had to been filed within four months, Oldman said.
The California 2nd District Court of Appeal noted in an October 2010 ruling against the singer’s father that the period to challenge the will had already expired. Even if the will were thrown out, the court noted, California law would require the estate to benefit Michael Jackson’s children.
“I don’t see how you come in three years later, and say, `oh, by the way, the will’s a fraud, a forgery, because he wasn’t in LA when he was purported to be,’” said Howard Klein, a probate attorney for nearly 50 years and partner in the Los Angeles firm Feinberg Mindel Brandt Klein & Kline. “It’s something that should have been brought up a long time ago.”
Randy Jackson – in comments on Twitter and to Sharpton on his MSNBC show last week – has repeatedly accused the estate’s executors of criminal conduct. Both Klein and Oldman said even if the executors were charged with wrongdoing, it wouldn’t open the door for more of Jackson’s relatives to gain access to the estate. Jackson’s children are deemed his heirs without the will, and a 1997 version lodged with the court but never publicly released also doesn’t name the singer’s siblings as beneficiaries of his estate.
Klein said even if Jackson or other siblings try to challenge the document, their bid will likely be rejected because it is too late. The judge could also rule, as he did against family patriarch Joe Jackson, that because he isn’t a beneficiary of the will, he isn’t entitled to contest it.
“It would be a tough sell,” Klein said of any effort by another Jackson relative to challenge the will now.
The executors recently informed a judge that there have been $475 million in gross earnings for the estate since Michael Jackson died in June 2009 from an overdose of the powerful anesthetic propofol. Jackson died with more than $500 million in debts, but the earnings have been used to repay many of the singer’s creditors and provide a spacious hilltop home for Katherine Jackson and the children, private schooling, staff, security, vacations and other perks.
Katherine Jackson has requested and the estate is recommending approval of a nearly $35,000 per month increase in Katherine Jackson’s stipend so she retain her own attorney, accountant and homes in Indiana and Las Vegas, court filings show.

LOS ANGELES, CA (Catholic Online) - Most of Jackson's surviving relatives say that the 2,500-acre property must stay in the family in order for his three children to inherit their birth home, the attorney for Jackson family matriarch Katherine Jackson says.
Eighty-two-year-old Katherine's role has remained Jackson's three children, Prince, 15, Paris, 14, and Blanket, 10. There are accusations by five of Katherine's other seven living children that the co-executors of Michael's debt-ridden estate, attorneys John Branca and John McClain, falsified the will.
Katherine remains the central figure because the will ultimately gives her 40 percent of the estate, of which McClain and Branca are executors until all debt and litigation are settled. Michael's children will also receive 40 percent, and the final 20 percent intended for charity.
Michael Jackson's formerly troubled estate has since generated $475 million in revenue in three short years, bringing all debt current and making a decision on the land possible within the next year.
"It is the wish of the beneficiaries that Neverland be kept in the family and Michael's children get to one day decide what to do with their old family home," Perry Sanders, Katherine Jackson's attorney, told The Daily.
"Unfortunately, the way things are set up in the trust code and state code, the trustees get to make decisions about the assets of the estate. So consequently, we're not aware of anything happening with it."
There had been discussion that the Neverland Ranch would become a tourist destination in the manner of Elvis Presley's Graceland mansion in Memphis, or into a world-class music school. Animal rights advocates, such as the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals want the land to be converted into a sanctuary for rescued exotic animals.
Singer Jermaine Jackson, Michael's older brother by four years had lobbied hard for the land to be developed into an amusement park, museum and concert venue celebrating his brother's legacy.
The chief executive officer of Colony Capital, the California investment firm that saved Neverland from foreclosure by buying Michael's $23 million mortgage in 2008, predicted he could sell the ranch for an astronomical $100 million. Santa Barbara County, where Neverland is located, has assessed the ranch's value at $29.2 million for tax purposes.

Meanwhile, Katherine has issued a stern warning to her children to "stop talking to the press about their family business. Katherine specifically told Randy that if he wants to pursue this ridiculous claim that Michael's will is fake, to remain quiet about it. If Randy does find evidence, which Katherine knows is very unlikely to happen, to take it to court and not play it out the in press. That is what the courts are for Katherine reminded Randy. Everyone loses when Randy takes his claims public, and it just causes undue stress on Katherine and Michael's children," the insider told us.

Ma anche se Randy e i suoi fratelli vogliono che la volontà sia invalidata ... quella precendente di MJ li taglia fuori dalla fortuna ... e nomina come esecutore solo Branca.
Diverse fonti dicono a TMZ ... che la situazione è semplicemente una presa di soldi da parte dei fratelli di MJ che sanno che, una volta che Katherine Jackson morirà ... i soldi di MJ andranno a una fondazione no profit per i suoi bambini. Randy e co. non potranno mai avere un centesimo.

There are witnesses who saw MJ sign the will ... and it has been validated by the court.
But even if Randy and his siblings were to get the will invalidated ... MJ's old will cuts them out of MJ's fortune too ... and it appoints Branca executor.
Multiple sources tell TMZ ... the situation is simply a money grab by MJ's siblings who know that once Katherine Jackson dies ... MJ's money goes in trusts for his kids. Randy and co. will never get a dime.
Randy kept saying they are a family. Paris begs to differ, because she just tweeted, "'Family' they said." Can you feel the sarcasm? And apparently Randy hasn't read our website ... that Tito has already jumped the "family" ship.

L'ex dermatologo di MJ, Arnie Klein non potrebbe più esercitare la medicina ... lo dice un comunicato del Consiglio Medico della California che ha appena depositato una richiesta di revoca e ritiraro della licenza medica a Klein.

The person behind the claim is Linda Whitney -- the Board's Executive Director of Consumer Affairs -- who claims Arnie has refused to undergo mandatory mental and physical examinations, in direct violation of the Board's orders.
Arnie -- one of MJ's closest friends and the doc who prescribed massive quantities of meds for the singer -- was ordered to undergo the examinations following an investigation into an anonymous complaint against the doctor back in 2010, alleging substandard care of two patients.
The patients have not been identified, so it's unclear if one of them was Michael Jackson.
Klein was ordered to submit to mental and physical examinations by June 8 -- but as we previously reported, the doctor refused, demanding to know who's behind the anonymous complaint.
Now, Whitney is asking the Board to pull the plug on his practice.
TMZ spoke with Klein's rep, Joel Douglas, who tells us ... "We're willing to cooperate, we just want to know the reasons behind the investigation. We're optimistic the court will be fair in the matter."

Janet, Randy, Rebbie and Jermaine Jackson have been barred from entering Katherine's Calabasas home, according to a letter allegedly written by Michael Jackson Estate lawyer, Howard Weitzman.
Weitzman, who represents co-executors John Branca and John McClain, reportedly sent the letter to Charles Schultz, TJ Jackson's attorney. The letter states:
“Given the circumstances of the last two weeks, and in order to protect the children and Mrs. Jackson, the Executors believe that it would not be appropriate to allow the following individuals to enter the residence or its grounds and we instruct the security to preclude the following from entering the residence or the grounds: Randy Jackson and any of his children, Janet Jackson, Rebbie Jackson and any of her children, Jermaine Jackson, his wife and any of his children, Janice Smith, or anyone else who was involved in the recent events that led to Mrs. Jackson’s separation from and inability to communicate with Michael’s children, or any agents or representatives of any of these individuals.
There will be no other security or drivers allowed on the property except those employed by the Estate of Michael Jackson. Joe Jackson is precluded from entering the property. Howard Mann who is in litigation against the Estate and is working with the Jackson siblings that wrote the “letter” should also not be allowed on the premises."
As for the "letter" being referenced ... it's the one sent to Branca and McClain by Janet, Jermaine, Randy, Rebbie and Tito Jackson ... asking that both men resign as executors of their brother's estate. In the letter, it claims the 2002 will is fraudulent.
Weitzman's alleged letter goes on to say:
“Of course, Paris, Prince and Blanket, T.J. and his brothers, Tito, Marlon, Jackie and their spouses, current security (hired by the Estate), staff (per T.J.), Meg Lodise, Michael Kane, Sandra Ribera, Parry Sanders, Trent Jackson, you (Charles Shultz) and anyone else authorized by T.J. (other than the Excluded Individuals listed above), may enter and remain on the premises.
It is imperative to the Estate that from this point forward a safe and appropriate environment be provided for Michael Jackson’s children and his mother as well."
A Jackson family source tells X17online exclusively:
"What kind of lawyer would deny a mother from seeing her own children. Katherine cried the first two days she came home. She told her assistant, 'They're taking everything from me.' They're denying her from hearing the truth. They're denying her family access to see her and trying to get her in court as fast as possible."
Friday, a judge ruled that Katherine will share guardianship duties of Michael's three children with her 34-year-old nephew, TJ Jackson.
Katherine's attorney, Perry Sanders Jr., clarified to X17online, that Katherine will still remain in control of the estate's finances, as well as the day-to-day activities of Paris, Prince and Blanket.

Though she handed Michael full custody of son Prince Michael, now 15, and daughter Paris, now 14, when they divorced in 1999, and didn't intervene after his death, Rowe has seen the kids on more than one occasion in the last three years, the source said.
The visitation was part of an agreement she struck with Katherine directly - a pact that also called for limited interaction with patriarch Joe Jackson, the source said.
Rowe, 53, was concerned about Joe's influence because Michael had accused his dad of physical abuse, sources previously told The News.
"As long as Katherine is still actively involved (with the kids), there shouldn't be a problem. But they never agreed to let TJ be a decision maker. (Rowe) knows TJ from when he was little. She knows he's close to the kids. But she might ask for more custodial responsibility if he's making decisions she doesn't agree with," the Rowe source said Friday.
TJ has been helping Katherine care for the kids at their Calabasas home and was granted temporary guardianship Wednesday amid a familial fracas pitting Michael's three kids against his siblings Janet, Jermaine, Randy and Rebbie.
Prince and Paris voiced allegations on Twitter that they were blocked from speaking with Katherine during a surprise 9-day trip to an Arizona spa organized by the aunts and uncles.

In the text -- sent this past Monday at 4:52 p.m. -- Prince Michael writes "This is enough so I am texting you for the simple fact that WE DEMAND TO SPEAK TO MY GRANDMA NOW!"
Prince Michael sent the text to his aunts Rebbie and Janet, and also to another relative, Austin Jackson. Janet responded: "Don't let them pls."
"It was an extremely emotional reunion with Katherine and the granchildren last night," a source close to the situation tells Radar. "Katherine was completely unaware that they had been trying to call her. Katherine heard a much different story about the past week than what she was told by her children, Randy, Jermaine and Janet who were with her in Tucson. Blanket was especially traumatized by Katherine leaving because he is extremely close to her and was absolutely lost without her.
"The kids were all united in telling Katherine that she could never go that long again without contacting them as they had grown so worried about her. Blanket was just glued to her side the entire night and was exhausted with emotion. The kids spent a few hours talking with Katherine and then she went to bed around midnight, it had been a very long day for her as she was driven back from Tucson to Los Angeles, which was an eight hour drive."
Meanwhile, the Jackson family matriarch will be meeting with her attorneys on Thursday afternoon in her bid to regain custody of her grandkids, which was taken away from her Wednesday and temporarily awarded to Tito Jackson's son, TJ.
"They will discuss the steps needed to reinstate Katherine as the kids' legal guardian. The papers could be filed late Thursday or on Friday," the source says. "It's likely the matter would be heard long before the next scheduled custody hearing date of August 22. Katherine wants legal custody back of the children immediately. Ultimately, the kids will have the final say on who will become their permanent guardian. Michael's kids want and support their grandmother resuming the role, but there will be added layers of protection to make sure nothing like this ever happens again."
Katherine Jackson arrived back at the Jackson family compound in Calabasas, Calif. early Thursday, confirmed via a tweet from Paris that read, "grandma's here!"
Hours before she returned, she gave a statement to ABC News. In it, which she read from a paper while surrounded by Janet, Jermaine, Rebbie and a staffer from the Miraval spa, claiming she was "devastated" about losing custody of her grandchildren, and denying her adult children had held her against her will at an Arizona resort for 11 days.

Katherine Jackson’s whereabouts caused concern for some family members in recent days, and her granddaughter Paris Jackson issued a frantic plea on Twitter early Sunday.
“I haven’t spoken with her in a week I want her home now,” she posted from her Twitter account. She also tweeted a number for people to contact in case they saw her grandmother.
Katherine Jackson also hadn’t been in contact with her attorneys, who worked Sunday to learn more information about her whereabouts and why she had suddenly become incommunicado, including with her grandchildren.
“First of all, let’s hope that this is all just a big misunderstanding and a totally benign situation,” her attorney Perry Sanders Jr. said Sunday. “Assuming that she did actually leave on doctor’s orders, no matter which doctor, it has certainly created an absolutely irregular situation whereby she has been out of contact with her grandchildren.”
The mystery of Katherine Jackson’s whereabouts was compounded by a recent visit from her son’s former physician, Dr. Allan Metzger, who examined her July 14 after being brought to her home in Calabasas by someone close to the family, said Katherine Jackson’s attorney Sandy Ribera.
The visit came one day before Katherine Jackson was scheduled to depart on an RV trip to the Southwest to watch her sons perform at concerts. The elder Jackson never made any of the shows and Metzger apparently told her not to take the trip, Ribera said.
Metzger is not Katherine Jackson’s primary physician and her regular doctor wasn’t aware of his house call until concerns about Katherine Jackson’s whereabouts were raised, Ribera said.
A phone message left for Metzger at his Beverly Hills practice was not immediately returned Sunday.
Metzger treated Michael Jackson earlier in his career and met with the singer once in the months before he died. Defense attorneys for the physician convicted of killing the pop superstar called him as a witness to try to show the singer was attempting to obtain a powerful anesthetic for home use.
Despite being a defense witness, Metzger aided prosecutors by telling jurors that he refused Jackson’s request and warned him of the risks.
Paris Jackson referenced Metzger’s visit in a tweet early Sunday, writing, “the same doctor that testified on behalf of dr murray saying my father was a drug addict (a lie) is caring for my grandmother… just saying.”
Conrad Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter for the June 2009 propofol overdose death of Jackson at age 50.
The family drama unfolded days after it was revealed that some of Katherine Jackson’s children had written a letter to the executors of Michael Jackson’s estate, alleging his will, which left his fortune to his children, his mother and charity, was a fake.
The undated letter, signed by Janet, Randy, Tito, Rebbie and Jermaine Jackson, claimed Katherine Jackson was being manipulated by the executors, John Branca and John McClain, her health had been affected, and she suffered a mini-stroke.
The legitimacy of the letter was confirmed by Randy Jackson on Twitter, and Janet Jackson retweeted his post.
The estate has denied the accusations. Katherine Jackson obtained permission from a judge to probe the validity of her son’s will, but never pursued the matter in court.
On Friday, Jermaine Jackson tweeted that his mother was resting on the orders of a doctor in Arizona.
“This is our mother and her health is paramount. We are not inventing or plotting anything,” he posted. “We are following doctor’s advice. Period.”"
Katherine Jackson has been caring for Paris, Prince Michael and Blanket Jackson since their father’s death. It was unclear who is taking care of the children in her absence.

A quanto pare invece Katherine si trova in un centro di recupero in Arizona per via di una prescrizione medica ma i bambini non la videro appunto per una settimana ed iniziarono a preoccuparsi.
