MICHAEL & WHITNEY DUET?

It’s long been known that a Michael & Whitney duet exists. Following the global disappointment of I Just Can’t Stop Loving You not featuring Whitney (despite being Michael’s first choice), the hunger for a duet between these two vocal titans has been long over due. Around 2007, when both Whitney and Michael were working on comeback tracks, reports surfaced that our prayers had in fact been answered and Michael and Whitney had reportedly hit the studio to record a single ‘Days of the Broken Hearted.’ Around this time, both were working with Akon, Michael on ‘Hold My Hand’ and Whitney on ‘Like I Never Left’.

In the years that followed, nothing came of the track and today both artists are no longer with us.

However 2 days ago, a fan reached out to Sony Legacy on Twitter to ask about the duet. Sony Legacy are responsible for all the catalogue releases of artists on the labels under Sony (hence the ‘legacy’ part).

Now that’s not to say anything will come of it, but very interesting that a) they should respond and b) they called for a public response by getting the track trending.
We’ll keep you updated on developments, but from a personal stand point how amazing would this duet be?! It’s a sure fire Number ONE hit and would be a beautiful tribute to the two legends who now watch over us…

MICHAEL & WHITNEY DUET?

E' noto da tempo che un duetto Michael & Whitney esiste. Dopo la grande delusione nel non poter sentire Whitney in" I Just Can not Stop Loving" (nonostante fosse stata la prima scelta di Michael), il desiderio di sentire un duetto fra questi due titani vocali è ben oltre le attese. Intorno al 2007, quando sia Whitney che Michael stavano lavorando su alcuni records, alcune fonti confermavano che le nostre preghiere erano infatti state esaudite e che Michael e Whitney , aveva registrato insieme "Days of the Broken Hearted. ' In quel periodo, entrambi lavoravano con Akon, Michael su 'Hold My Hand' e Whitney su 'Like I Never Left'.
Negli anni che seguirono, non si è più saputo nulla della traccia e oggi entrambi gli artisti non sono più con noi.
Tuttavia due giorni fa, un fan ha scritto un tweet a Sony Legacy su Twitter chiedendo del duetto. Sony Legacy è responsabile di tutte le tracce e cataloghi degli artisti sotto etichetta Sony
(vedi sopra gli screen dei tweets).
Ora questo non vuol dire che qualcosa verrà pubblicato, ma è molto interessante che:
a) abbiano risposto
b) hanno chiesto un trend con il nome della canzone.
Vi terremo aggiornati sugli sviluppi, ma da un punto di vista personale quanto incredibile sarebbe ascoltare questo duetto ?!
Sarebbe senza dubbio molto interessante e sarebbe un bel omaggio a due leggende che ora vegliano su di noi .
