Cirque du Soleil’s ‘MJ ONE’ cast to celebrate “A Place With No Name” in new video

With the release of Michael Jackson’s “A Place With No Name” as the second single from the ‘XSCAPE’ just weeks away, the cast of Cirque du Soleil’s ‘Michael Jackson ONE’ production have put together a special video to promote the song and album.
The video was directed by MJ ONE performer and life-long Jackson fan Kany Diabaté, who worked with together Cirque du Soleil’s photographer and videographer Aaron Felske on the project. Felske served as director of photography.
Those involved with the project hope fans will feel Jackson’s inspiration and presence in the final product, but have remained tight-lipped about the content of the video itself, which features members of the MJ ONE cast.
Contrary to rumors circulating among fans, the clip will not serve as the official “A Place With No Name” music video. Sony Music and The Estate of Michael Jackson have been working independently on the official video which they hope will help the single make an impact on the charts.
“While we are aware that the MJ ONE cast decided to create their own video to celebrate Michael’s new album, it is NOT connected in any way to the release of the next single or any official video that the Estate and Sony may be working on in conjunction with that release,” said The Official Online Team of The Michael Jackson Estate in an email today.
Instead the MJ ONE team’s video will be used to unofficially promote the album and single. The same concept was executed by the cast of Cirque’s ‘IMMORTAL’ for the song “Blue Gangsta,” and by the DanceOn crew for “Love Never Felt So Good” – both of which have had more than one million views on YouTube since their release two months ago. Il cast del Cirque du Soleil’s ‘MJ ONE’ celebra "A Place With No Name" in un nuovo video

Con il rilascio di "A Place With No Name" come secondo singolo dal 'XSCAPE' qualche settimana fa, il cast della produzione del Cirque du Soleil 'Michael Jackson ONE' hanno preparato un video speciale per promuovere la canzone e l'album.
Il video è stato diretto dal performer di MJ ONE e fan di lunga durata di Jackson, Kany Diabaté, che ha lavorato con il fotografo del Cirque du Soleil e operatore video Aaron Felske sul progetto. Felske è il direttore della fotografia.
Coloro che sono coinvolti nel progetto sperano che i fan sentano l'ispirazione e la presenza di Jackson nel prodotto finale, ma non hanno svelato molto sul contenuto del video stesso, che conta con la presenza di membri del cast del MJ ONE.
Contrariamente alle voci che circolano tra i fan, la clip non servirà come video ufficiale di "A Place With No Name". Sony Music e The Estate of Michael Jackson hanno lavorato in modo indipendente sul video ufficiale che sperano aiuti il singolo a scalare le classifiche.
"Anche se siamo consapevoli che il MJ ONE ha deciso di creare il proprio video per celebrare il nuovo album di Michael, NON è collegato in alcun modo con l'uscita del prossimo singolo o qualsiasi video ufficiale a cui l'Estate e Sony stanno lavorando in concomitanza per questa release ", ha detto il funzionario del team di The Michael Jackson Estate in una e-mail di oggi.
Invece, il video del team del MJ ONE sarà utilizzato per promuovere ufficiosamente l'album e il singolo. Lo stesso concetto è stato eseguito dal cast di Cirque’s ‘IMMORTAL' per la canzone "Blue Gangsta" e dal gruppo 'DanceOn' per "Love Never Felt So Good" - entrambi i quali hanno avuto più di un milione di visualizzazioni su YouTube dopo il loro rilascio due mesi fa.
