Hesketh Bank author releases book about what Michael Jackson’s body language reveals about the King of Pop

A BODY language expert has released a new book which seeks to uncover the truth about the King of Pop.

Craig Baxter painstakingly analysed several video interviews with Michael Jackson for his debut book about the pop legend – in an attempt to get to the truth behind the allegations that dogged his career.

And Craig believes his analysis shows Jackson was telling the truth when he denied child abuse accusations.

His book, Behind The Mask: What Michael Jackson’s Body Language Told The World, was released earlier this month as an e-book through Amazon, and fans have flocked to snap it up.

Former Tarleton Academy pupil Craig, from Hesketh Bank, said: “It’s taken a huge amount of research but it’s been well worth it. It’s gone to the top of best-seller lists for Michael Jackson biographies in the UK, Germany and America.

“I spent around two years analysing Michael, and put that work together for the book. There’s been so much written about him, and a lot of it is rubbish. This book is a bit different and there’s been a great response to it, especially from his fans.”

The 29-year-old, who works as a GP referral officer for West Lancashire Community Leisure, decided to write the book after being bombarded with requests to analyse Jackson by fans as part of a series of body language You Tube videos he has created.

And having analysed in-depth five of the star’s most famous interviews – such as those with Oprah, Martin Bashir and the 1993 Neverland Ranch statement – Craig is now adamant that Jackson was innocent of many of the accusations levelled at him.

He said: “In my analysis, I show there’s a few little lies he tells, where I think he’s being dishonest. But when he’s talking about the child abuse allegations, he is being very honest. I can tell what he’s saying with body language and his mannerisms.

“He was made a scapegoat – his life was one constant media manipulation. You get to see a different side of him through the book, how he was a delicate, gentle man who wouldn’t do anything to hurt anyone.”

The next step for the budding author is finding a publisher to release it in paperback, while two more books centred around body language are in the pipeline – including one about how to tell when teenagers are lying.
