Michael Jackson Fan sues Estate..I don't hear enough MJ on this MJ disc
One irate Michael Jackson fan is suing his Estate because she thinks MJ was not the lead singer on 3 of his songs on the 2010 CD, "Michael" ... the first release after his death.
The woman filed the suit today in L.A. claiming she bought the disc in 2011, but didn't hear enough Michael on 3 particular tracks.
In the suit she claims she hired an audio expert to analyze her CD and he determined it was very likely that MJ did not sing lead vocals on "Breaking News" ... "Monster" ... and "Keep Your Head Up."
The woman wants this to be a class action -- meaning if the allegation is true the Estate would owe money to everyone who bought the full album, or any of the 3 tracks in question.
The Estate's lawyer, Howard Weitzman, has previously said Michael did provide lead vocals for all the tracks on the album.

La donna ha presentato oggi la causa a Los Angeles affermando di aver comprato l'album nel 2011, e dichiarando di non sentire a sufficienza MJ in 3 canzoni.
Nella causa sostiene di aver assunto un esperto audio per analizzare il CD , che ha stabilito,molto probabilmente, che non si tratta di MJ che canta in "Breaking News " ... "Monster" ... e "Keep Your Head Up".
La donna spera che questa sarà una class action( un azione collettiva) - cioè se l'accusa è vera, l'Estate dovrà risarcire tutti coloro che hanno acquistato l'intero album, o uno qualsiasi dei 3 brani in questione. L'avvocato del Estate, Howard Weitzman, ha già dichiarato che Michael ha fornito le parti vocali soliste in tutte le tracce dell'album.

.Explosive fraud lawsuit names Michael Jackson’s estate, Sony Music, Eddie Cascio, James Porte over controversial songs released in 2010!by Damien Shields
A Michael Jackson fan has filed a Class Action lawsuit in Los Angeles over the authenticity of three controversial songs included on the posthumously-released ‘MICHAEL’ album.
The plaintiff, Vera Serova, alleges that Jackson’s longtime friend Eddie Cascio, his collaborative partner James Porte, and Cascio’s music production company Angelikson Productions LLC committed fraud by creating and selling fake songs, via The Estate of Michael Jackson and Sony Music Entertainment, to consumers on the ‘MICHAEL’ album – released on December 14, 2010 in the U.S.
The songs in question have become known as the ‘Cascio tracks’. They are: “Breaking News”, “Keep Your Head Up” and “Monster”. Cascio and Porte say that Michael Jackson recorded the songs in Cascio’s New Jersey basement between August and November 2007. Serova, many of her fellow fans, and the entire Jackson family say Michael did no such thing.
I will personally be following this case very closely. For the last three-and-a-half years I’ve been working on investigating this very issue with a dedicated team of researchers. The findings of our investigation will ultimately be written as a book that will detail Jackson’s final years in the recording studio and shed light on the events surrounding the conception, production and release of the ‘MICHAEL’ album following his passing.
Serova’s filing also claims that Sony Music and The Estate have themselves mislead consumers by falsely representing these songs as Michael Jackson recordings. The claim cites that the ‘MICHAEL’ album’s promotional campaign and wording on the back of the CD cover expressly and implicitly represents all lead vocals on the album as being performed by Michael Jackson.
The filing states that Serova has engaged the services of a forensic musicologist who analysed the Cascio tracks and found it is unlikely that the vocals were performed by Michael Jackson. The filing also states that a second, independent forensic musicologist reviewed the methodologies and findings of the first musicologist and agreed with the deduction that it is likely that Michael Jackson does not perform lead vocals on the Cascio tracks.
Back in 2010, when the controversy first erupted, Estate attorney Howard Weitzman issued a statement to fans and the media outlining the lengths he had gone to in order to confirm the authenticity of the Cascio tracks:
“Six of Michael’s former producers and engineers who had worked with Michael over the past 30 years – Bruce Swedien, Matt Forger, Stewart Brawley, Michael Prince, Dr. Freeze and Teddy Riley – were all invited to a listening session to hear the raw vocals of the Cascio tracks in question,” Weitzman’s statement reads. “All of these persons listened to the a cappella versions of the vocals on the Cascio tracks being considered for inclusion on the album, so they could give an opinion as to whether or not the lead vocals were sung by Michael. They all confirmed that the vocal was definitely Michael.”
However, former Jackson producer, Cory Rooney, and Jackson’s nephew, Taryll Jackson, who were at that very listening session, vigorously contest the accuracy of Weitzman’s statement.
“I have read the statement from the MJ estate and I have to say that it’s just more bullshit!” said Cory Rooney on his Facebook profile after Weitzman’s statement went public. “I was in that room, and the majority of the people mentioned did NOT agree that it was MJ! Some felt it sounded like him but all agree that there was nothing there that was consistent with any MJ habits like finger snaps, headphone bleeding, foot stomping or just simple things like his voice asking for another take. Both Dr. Freeze and Teddy Riley sat with Taryll Jackson and myself and stated that they felt what we felt.”
“There are many inaccuracies and omissions in that statement,” added Taryll. “For one, I was also in that meeting and that was not the outcome. You will hear my story because this is way too important for my Uncle’s legacy. The truth will prevail.”
Serova cites these statements in her filing.
Teddy Riley personally took to Twitter last year to apologise to fans over his involvement with the posthumous production Cascio tracks (Riley remixed “Breaking News” and “Monster”) while deflecting the blame towards Eddie Cascio.
Riley was asked the following by a fan via Twitter: “Do you feel betrayed by Eddie Cascio and his team for the situation you ended up in with their fake MJ songs? It seem[s] to me like you got all the heat for a fraud they created, which is [not] fair on you…”
He responded: “It isn’t (fair), but it’s all good. I’ll be able to talk soon,” later adding: “[Now] isn’t the time. I’m muted, but trust me MJ always gets his just due. He is my bestfriend, bigbro and confidant. Please believe! The truth will set us all free… I was set up and it will all come out… That’s all I can say right now.”

It should also be noted that Stuart Brawley, who is cited in Weitzman’s statement as one of the engineers and producers who confirmed the authenticity of the vocal on the Cascio tracks, was in fact working with Eddie Cascio and James Porte on these songs as part of the Angelikson Productions team!
“Stuart co-produced 3 of the tracks [featured on the 'Michael' album] as part of the Angelikson production team, along with Eddie Cascio and James Porte,” says an article on Brawley’s own ‘The Backyard Studios’ website. “In addition, Stuart played keyboards, engineered, programmed on all the songs, and did the string arrangement for ‘Keep Your Head Up’.”
“I was focused on making Michael sound like Michael,” Brawley told Rolling Stone of his contribution to the tracks.
Back to Weitzman’s statement. He also cited the engagement of two forensic musicologists – one by the Estate and one by Sony Music – both of whom reported that the vocals on the Cascio tracks were Michael Jackson’s. See below:
“The Estate then retained one of the best-known forensic musicologists in the nation to listen to the vocals without any instrumental accompaniment (“a cappella”), and to compare them with a cappella vocals from previous Michael songs. This expert performed waveform analysis, an objective scientific test used to determine audio authenticity, on the Cascio tracks, as well as previously released tracks with Michael’s voice, and reported that ALL of the lead vocals analyzed (which included Cascio tracks) were the voice of Michael Jackson.
Sony Music conducted their own investigation by hiring yet a second well-respected forensic musicologist who also compared the a cappella lead vocals from Cascio tracks against previously released vocals of Michael’s, and found that Michael’s voice was the on all sets of the raw vocals.”
Despite claiming that the Estate’s forensic musicologist is one of the “best-known” in the nation, Weitzman does not name him/her, and does not provide excerpts from or copies of the supposed findings. Sony’s “well-respected” expert was also not named.
Ms. Serova’s court filing, however, does name one her primary forensic musicologist – Dr. George Papcun, PhD.
Dr. Papcun is a seasoned expert in the world of sound. His expertise, according to his website, includes analysis of recordings, enhancing the intelligibility of recordings, determining whether recordings have been altered, speaker identification, memory for voices, voice lineups, using voice to determine speaker veracity and voice morphing.
He has performed audio analysis for countless high-profile clients and cases including the CIA, the Secret Service, the NSA, the Trayvon Martin case, Rodney King case, O.J. Simpson case and on a Paula Abdul recording.
If this case goes to trial we could see the likes of James Porte – who co-wrote the Cascio tracks and is credited as singing background vocals on them, yet has never once commented on his supposed work with the King of Pop – take the stand for questioning. We could see Jason Cupeta (aka Jason Malachi) – the person many believe actually sings on the Cascio tracks – called to testify; or perhaps even Cupeta’s longtime producer and vocal engineer Tony Kurtis, who has publicly stated that the singer on the Cascio tracks is, in his view, without a doubt Jason. Members of the Jackson family will almost certainly be called for questioning, as will those cited in Weitzman’s statement.
All of this certainly has the makings of a blockbuster trial, but the likelihood of anything actually happening in the immediate future is not great. As with all lawsuits of this nature, we will likely waiting quite some time for any further updates.

La querelante, Vera Serova, sostiene che un amico di Jackson ,Eddie Cascio, il suo collaboratore, James Porte ,e la società dei Cascio, la Angelikson Productions LLC,abbiano commesso frode, nel produrre e vendere dei brani falsi , attraverso la Michael jackson Estate e Sony Music Entertainment, verso i consumatori, contenuti nell'album 'Michael' - pubblicato il 14 Dicembre 2010 in USA
Le canzoni in questione , sono diventate famose come le 'tracce Cascio'. E sono: "Breaking News", "Keep Your Head Up" e "Monster". Cascio e Porte dicono che Michael Jackson ha registrato i brani in New Jersey , nel seminterrato dei Cascio tra agosto e novembre 2007. Serova, come molti fan, e l'intera famiglia Jackson dicono che Michael non ha mai fatto niente del genere.
Io personalmente seguirò questo caso molto da vicino. Da 3 anni e mezzo sto indagando su questo tema , insieme ad un team di investigatori. I risultati della nostra indagine, saranno pubblicati in un libro che conterrà i dettagli degli ultimi anni in studio di Jackson nel tentativo di far luce sugli eventi, la produzione e il rilascio dell' album 'Michael' dopo la sua scomparsa.
La denuncia di Serova sostiene inoltre che Sony Music e l' Estate , in primis, hanno fuorviato i consumatori , presentando queste stesse canzoni come di Michael Jackson. L'affermazione cita che la campagna promozionale dell'album, così come le diciture a margine nel retro del CD dichiarano , esplicitamente e implicitamente, che tutta la voce da solista è di Michael Jackson.
Nella denuncia è scritto che la sig. Serova ha assunto un esperto analitico forense che ha analizzato le tracce Cascio e che ritiene sia altamente improbabile che nelle canzoni sia Michael Jackson. Sempre dalla denuncia si evince che anche un secondo esperto analitico ma indipente, ha esaminato le relazioni del primo esperto e che concorda che probabile non si tratta di Michael Jackson.
Già nel 2010, quando la prima polemica scoppiò, l'avvocato per l'Estate,Howard Weitzman , rilasciò una dichiarazione per i fans e i media e delineando e confermando in sostanza, l'autenticità delle canzoni:"Sei ex produttori e tecnici di Michael che hanno lavorato con Michael nel corso degli ultimi 30 anni - Bruce Swedien, Matt Forger Stewart Brawley, Michael Prince, Dr. Freeez e Teddy Riley - sono stati tutti invitati a una sessione di ascolto per ascoltare la voce nelle tracce Cascio, "si legge nella dichiarazione di Weitzman . "Tutte queste persone hanno ascoltato le versioni a cappella delle voci sulle canzoni Cascio, prima di prendere la decisione di inserirle nell'album, in modo da poter esprimere un parere circa la validità e la voce di Michael. Tutti hanno confermato che la voce era sicuramente di Michael. "
Tuttavia, l'ex produttore di Jackson, Cory Rooney, e il nipote di Jackson, Taryll Jackson, che erano presenti nella stessa sessione, contestarono fortemente le dichiarazioni di Weitzman.

"Ci sono molte inesattezze e omissioni in questa affermazione", ha aggiunto Taryll. "C'ero anche io in quella sessione di ascolto, quello che afferma l'Estate non è quello che è successo. Credetemi, perchè questo è importatissimo per l'eredità di mio zio. La verità prevarrà ".
Serova cita tutte queste affermazioni, nella sua denuncia.
Teddy Riley stesso, ha scritto su Twitter l'anno scorso per chiedere scusa ai fans , per essersi lasciato coinvolgere nella produzione dell'album Michael (Riley ha remixato "Breaking News" e "Monster"), e nel mentre ,da la colpa a Eddie Cascio.
A Riley è stato chiesto, da un fan che lo segue da tempo su Twitter: "Ti senti tradito da Eddie Cascio e dal suo team per la situazione che poi ha portato a pubblicare quelle canzoni? Ho come l'impressione che sia tu accusato di frode e non credo sia giusto.. "
Lui ha risposto: «Non è (giusto), ma va tutto bene. Sarò in grado di parlare presto, "poi aggiunge:" [Ora] non è il momento. Sono in sordina, ma mi fido del fatto che MJ ottiene sempre quello che gli è dovuto. Lui è il mio migliore amico, confidente e fratello. Vi prego di credermi! La verità ci renderà liberi ... Tutto verrà fuori ... Questo è tutto quello che posso dire in questo momento. "
Va inoltre fatto notare che Stuart Brawley, citato nella dichiarazione di Weitzman come uno degli ingegneri e produttori che hanno confermato l'autenticità della voce sulle tracce Cascio, stava fra l'altro già lavorando con Eddie Cascio e James Porte su queste canzoni come parte del team della Angelikson Productions!
"Stuart ha coprodotto 3 dei brani [presenti sul album 'Michael'] come parte del team della Angelikson, insieme a Eddie Cascio e James Porte", dice un articolo sul sito 'The Backyard Studios di Brawley. "Inoltre, Stuart suona nelle tastiere, ha prodotto tutte le canzoni, e ha fatto l'arrangiamento d'archi di 'Keep Your Head Up'."
"Ho cercato di renderlo come Michael", ha dichiarato Brawley, al Rolling Stone , parlando del suo contributo sulle canzoni.
Tornando invece alla dichiarazione di Weitzman. Si parla anche dell'impegno di due esperti forensi- uno chiamato dall' Estate e uno da Sony Music - entrambi i quali hanno riferito che le voci sulle tracce Cascio erano di Michael Jackson. Vedi sotto:
"L'Estate ha assunto uno degli esperti forensi maggiormente quotati del paese, gli è stato chiesto di ascoltare senza accompagnamento strumentale (" a cappella "), e di confrontarle con la voce a cappella, nelle precedenti canzoni di Michael. Questo esperto ha fatto due analisi, ha utilizzato dei metodi altamente scentifici per determinare l'autenticità audio, sulle tracce Cascio, così come nei brani rilasciati in precedenza da Michael, e ha riferito che TUTTE le voci principali analizzate (comprese quelle dei brani Cascio) erano la voce di Michael Jackson.
Sony Music ha condotto un altra analisi , assumendo un altro esperto forense , sempre quotatissimo, che ha fatto la stessa cosa, e ha detto che si tratta sempre di Michael Jackson ".
Nonostante si parli di un esperto forense fra i più quotati e "più noti" nel paese, Weitzman non fa il nome di lui/lei e non fornisce stralci o copie dei risultati presunti. Stessa cosa dicasi per l'esperto presumibilmente assunto dalla Sony.
Invece, la sig Serova, nella sua denuncia presso la corte , cita il suo esperto - il Dr. George Papcun, PhD.
Il Dr. Papcun è un esperto mondiale . La sua esperienza, secondo il suo sito web , comprende analisi delle registrazioni, capacità di migliorare l'intelligibilità delle registrazioni, determinare se le registrazioni sono state modificate, l'identificazione della modulazione del suono, formazione professionale circa l'identificazione della voce , grande esperienza circa la capacità di verificare la veridicità di una voce e la sua morofologia..
Ha fornito relazioni per casi di grande profilo e per clienti importanti , tra cui la CIA, i Servizi Segreti, la NSA, il caso Trayvon Martin, il caso Rodney King, il caso OJ Simpson e per Paula Abdul.
Se questo caso va a giudizio, potremmo vedere artisti del calibro di James Porte - che ha scritto le canzoni Cascio ed è accreditato come voce che canta nel coro, senza che mai abbia commentato una sola volta il suo lavoro con il Re del Pop -andare alla sbarra per un interrogatorio. Potremmo vedere ,Jason Cupeta (aka Jason Malachi) - la persona che molti credono sia la voce sulle canzoni Cascio - chiamato a testimoniare; o forse il produttore di Cupeta e ingegnere del suono, Tony Kurtis, che ha pubblicamente dichiarato che a cantare su quelle canzoni è , a suo avviso, senza ombra di dubbio, Jason. I membri della famiglia Jackson saranno quasi certamente chiamati alla sbarra, così come le persone citate nella dichiarazione di Weitzman.
Tutto questo , fa pensare ad un processo da prima visione, ma la probabilità che qualcosa accada a breve. è minima. Come per tutte le cause di questa natura, bisognerà aspettare un bel pò di tempo prima di avere altre notizie.

Tutte queste cause (presunte o in corso di diventare tali ) porteranno alla luce la VERITA'?...quella VERA intendo..
Non metto in dubbio la buona fede di questa in particolare perché - anche se non si dice ad alta voce - i dubbi sull'autenticità di queste tracce c'è... sappiamo anche che gli interessi (economici o di carriera professionale) in ballo sono tutt'altro che bruscolini.. non credo che chi ha molto da perdere non faccia niente per uscirne "indenne"... visto che Michael è quello sacrificabile ( in tutti i sensi )e noi fan siamo SOLO delle cavie!. -

Da una parte è credo, un bel colpo.. della serie " di passar da fessi o essere trattati come tali, saremo anche stanchi".. ed è la speranza , credo, un pò di tutti, che questa faccenda almeno possa essere chiarita.
dall'altra.. non so, ho qualche dubbio.. perchè non trovo tracce di questa signora.. Vera Serova..

A scanso di equivoci la Class action richiesta essendo lei una residente di Santa Clara, in California, riguarda esclusivamente lo stato della California.
Ci sono i dati e il telefono dello studio legale.. al quale rivolgersi per considerarsi parte di, cioè della richiesta Class action.. azione di gruppo..
Ma non al di fuori della California.. almeno per ora.

Infamous Jackson relationship extends beyond music to marriage with Porte-Cascio wedding amidst pending fraud lawsuit

Today it was confirmed that James Porte – co-writer of twelve controversial songs sold to Sony Music as ‘Michael Jackson’ recordings in 2010 – married collaborative partner Eddie Cascio’s sister, Marie-Nicole Cascio, over the weekend.
Pictures taken at the wedding, which took place in New Jersey on Saturday, August 9, 2014 show James Porte performing a Michael Jackson dance number with an entourage of wedding-attending backing dancers, including Frank Cascio, who uploaded the pictures to his public Instagram account. See below:
The news of Porte’s marriage to Marie-Nicole Cascio comes less than two months after an explosive fraud lawsuit was filed against Porte, Eddie Cascio and their production company Angelikson Productions LLC by Jackson fan Vera Serova over the dubious vocals on the songs they sold to Sony Music in mid-2010. The songs will be referred to herein as the ‘Porte-Cascio tracks’. Click here to read more about the lawsuit.
Three of the twelve Porte-Cascio tracks – “Breaking News”, “Monster” and “Keep Your Head Up” – were ultimately released on the ‘MICHAEL’ album in December 2010. The album remains available with both physical and online retailers. It is believed to have sold approximately 550,000 copies in the U.S. and 2 million copies worldwide to date.
Many of you will know that for the past three-and-a-half years myself and a team of dedicated researchers have been investigating questions surrounding these songs and their release. Porte and Cascio purport that the songs recorded by Jackson in the Cascio family home basement in 2007. The findings of our investigation will ultimately be written and published as a book.
The wedding marks the first time Jackson fans have sighted Porte since the release of the ‘MICHAEL’ album nearly four years ago. In fact, despite being credited as an equal co-writer of all twelve Porte-Cascio tracks, Porte did not participate in the album’s promotional campaign – including a documentary published on the official Michael Jackson VEVO channel called ‘MICHAEL: The Making of the Album’. Eddie Cascio, however, did appear in this documentary, along with Akon, Lenny Kravitz, Neff-U and producer of two Porte-Cascio tracks Teddy Riley.
Subsequent to Porte’s complete absence from the public eye, Eddie Cascio and producer Teddy Riley received a majority of the criticism over these recordings. Riley in particular, due to his high-profile presence and accessibility on Twitter, copped a beating from Jackson fans for working on the tracks.
Right before the album was released Cascio and Riley – along with members of the Cascio family; including Marie-Nicole – appeared on Oprah to talk about the family’s ‘secret’ relationship with Jackson, and to defend the veracity of the vocals featured on the Porte-Cascio tracks. Once again, James Porte was no where to be seen. In fact, Porte’s name was not mentioned at all in the broadcast, with the tracks being labelled by Oprah as “written and produced by Michael Jackson and Eddie Cascio.”
Not only has Porte attempted to keep his name and face out of the limelight regarding working with the King of Pop, but he also appears to have tried to fly under the radar with his wedding.
For months leading up to the date I had been aware of the online gift registry the couple had set up at The Knot in preparation for their wedding. However, it could not be confirmed that this was definitely James Porte’s wedding because The Knot website had listed the couple as “Marie Nicole Cascio + James Victor”. According to a series of U.S. Copyright registration filings listed on the Library of Congress website – including one called ‘MJ Song Book 2009 #1′ in which Michael Jackson is credited as for sound recording, performance, production, compilation and lyrics - ‘Victor’ is James Porte’s middle name. James Victor Porte.
Porte is no stranger to using fake names or aliases. A number of his U.S. Copyright registration filings also list his pseudonym – ‘Bobby Ewing’ – as a contributor. One specific registration is titled “Slide show 2005 / James Porte a.k.a. Bobby Ewing”.
It was not until Frank Cascio uploaded a series of images to his Instagram account, visually showing Porte marrying Marie-Nicole Cascio, that the identity of ‘James Victor’ from The Knot wedding registry could be confirmed as definitely being James Porte.

Oggi è stato confermato che James Porte - co-autore delle dodici controverse canzoni vendute a Sony Music come registrazioni di 'Michael Jackson' nel 2010 - e la sorella del suo collaboratore Eddie Cascio, Marie-Nicole Cascio, si sono sposati durante il fine settimana.
Le foto scattate al matrimonio, che ha avuto luogo nel New Jersey Sabato 9 Agosto 2014 mostrano James Porte eseguire un numero di danza di Michael Jackson con un entourage di ballerini invitati alle nozze alle spalle, tra cui Frank Cascio, che ha caricato le foto sul suo account Instagram.
La notizia del matrimonio di Porte e Marie-Nicole Cascio arriva meno di due mesi dopo un'esplosiva querela per frode che è stata depositata contro Porte, Eddie Cascio e la loro società di produzione Angelikson Productions LLC da una fan di Jackson, Vera Serova per la dubbia veridicità delle parti vocali nelle canzoni che hanno venduto a Sony Music a metà del 2010. Tr e delle dodici tracce Porte-Cascio - "Breaking News", "Monster" e "Keep Your Head Up" - sono state alla fine rilasciate per l'album 'Michael' nel dicembre 2010. L'album rimane disponibile tanto per i rivenditori fisici quanto online. Si pensa abbia venduto fino ad oggi circa 550.000 copie negli Stati Uniti e 2 milioni di copie in tutto il mondo.
Molti di voi sapranno che negli ultimi tre anni e mezzo io e un team di ricercatori stiamo indagando sui dubbi che circondano queste canzoni e il loro rilascio. Porte e Cascio affermano con forza che le canzoni sono state registrate da Jackson nel seminterrato della casa di famiglia nel 2007. Il matrimonio segna la prima volta in cui i fan di Jackson hanno potuto avvistare Porte dal rilascio del album 'Michael' quasi quattro anni fa. In realtà, pur essendo accreditato come un pari co-autore di tutte le dodici tracce Porte-Cascio, Porte non ha partecipato alla campagna promozionale dell'album - tra cui un documentario pubblicato sul canale ufficiale di Michael Jackson VEVO chiamato 'MICHAEL: The Making of dell'album'. Eddie Cascio, invece, compare in questo documentario, insieme ad Akon, Lenny Kravitz, Neff-U e Teddy Riley, produttore di due delle tracce Porte-Cascio.
Vista la completa assenza di Porte dalla scena pubblica, Eddie Cascio e il produttore Teddy Riley hanno ricevuto la maggior parte delle critiche su queste registrazioni. Riley in particolare, grazie alla sua presenza di alto profilo e all'accessibilità su Twitter, è stato bastonato dai fan di Jackson per aver lavorato sulle tracce.
Proprio prima che l'album fosse rilasciato Cascio e Riley - insieme con i membri della famiglia Cascio, tra cui Marie-Nicole - erano apparsi da Oprah per parlare di rapporti 'segreti' della famiglia con Jackson, e per difendere la veridicità delle parti vocali presenti sulle tracce Porte-Cascio. Ancora una volta, James Porte non si è visto. In realtà, il nome di Porte non è stato per niente menzionato nella trasmissione, con le tracce etichettate da Oprah come "scritte e prodotte da Michael Jackson e Eddie Cascio."

Tuttavia, non si poteva confermare che si trattava sicuramente del matrimonio di James Porte perché il sito Knot aveva indicato la coppia come "Marie Nicole Cascio + James Victor". Secondo una serie di archivi di registrazione di US Copyright presenti sul sito della Library of Congress (Biblioteca del Congresso) - tra cui una intitolata 'MJ Song Book 2009 N° 1', in cui Michael Jackson è accreditato per registrazione del suono, esecuzione, produzione, composizione e testi - 'Victor' è il secondo nome di James Porte. James Victor Porte.
Porte non è nuovo all'uso di nomi falsi o alias. Un certo numero di sue registrazioni di US Copyright presentano nella lista anche il suo pseudonimo - 'Bobby Ewing' - come collaboratore. Nello specifico la registrazione si intitola "Slide show 2005 / James Porte aka Bobby Ewing".
Non si poteva confermare che l'identità di 'James Victor' presente nella lista nozze di The Knot fosse definitivamente James Porte prima che Frank Cascio caricasse una serie di immagini sul suo account Instagram, che mostrano visivamente Porte sposare Marie-Nicole Cascio.
Il matrimonio Porte-Cascio è stato un affare molto 'Jackson', con la sua musica suonata per tutta la notte e almeno due membri della famiglia Jackson - Rebbie Jackson e Austin Brown - presenti. Frank Cascio ha anche caricato un video di suo fratello Dominic che balla "Billie Jean" di Jackson.
